Duffee has withdrawn from his UFC 209 fight against Mark Godbeer, ESPN's Brett Okamoto reports.
Duffee hasn't fought since his July 2015 loss to Frank Mir, but it's unclear at this time what's ailing him. Given the 31-year-old's level of inactivity, it's unlikely he sees a high-profile heavyweight bout any time soon. In the meantime, Godbeer will attempt to secure a new opponent for the March 4 event.

Fantasy AnalysisAs is usually the case with Duffee, he either looks like a future champion or a guy who should be cut. Wednesday, it was the latter. The biggest concern for Duffee going into this fight was to avoid getting into a ground battle against Mir. He was able to do that, with the entire contest being spent on the feet, but he got the short end of a striking battle. The end came when one huge right hand from Mir knocked Duffee out cold. He was out before he even hit the mat. Although Duffee made his UFC debut back in December 2012, due to injuries and illness, this was just his third fight with the company and his first loss. We will see Duffee again, but it's certainly a giant step back for the 29-year old.
