Collins was placed on the one-game injured list in advance of Saturday's game against the Lions.

Collins played a key role for the Roughriders the last several weeks, but he will not suit up for the team's season finale. With Collins out, Rob Bagg, Caleb Holley, and Phil Bates will be the Roughriders' starting slotbacks in Week 20.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Collins totaled 67 yards on six catches, gained 41 yards on four punt returns, totaled 36 yards on two kickoff returns and added 38 yards on a missed field goal return in Saturday's 24-6 loss to the Lions.

Collins got the start at slotback while also serving as the primary returner and parlayed the extensive opportunity into a stellar all-around performance. The 24-year-old's reception total equaled his second highest of the season, while the four punt returns represented his first appearance in that area of the stat sheet this season. Given his success Saturday despite the dismal loss, Collins could well be the beneficiary of similar opportunities in the Week 20 finale.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Collins will start at slotback and serve as the Roughriders' return man in Saturday's game against the Lions.

Collins will move from wide receiver to slotback this week, and he will also return both kicks and punts with Joe Craig on the practice squad this week.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Collins caught seven passes for 113 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's win over the Argos.

After spending four weeks on IR with an undisclosed injury, Collins looked rejuvenated in his return to the lineup, posting his first 100-yard game and first TD since Week 3. Given the depleted nature of the Riders' depth chart at WR, expect Collins to see plenty of targets to close out the regular season.

Collins (undisclosed) will return to action Saturday against the Argonauts.

Collins has not played since landing on the six-game injured list in mid-September, but he will return to action this week and fill the starting receiver spot opposite Nic Demski. He could play a key role for the Roughriders right away with the team losing two fellow receivers for the season in Week 16.

Collins was placed on the 6-game injured list Saturday, Dave Campbell of 630 CHED reports.

It's unclear what the 24-year-old is dealing with but he will require a stay on the injured list to heal up. After a hot start to the season, the wideout has cooled off, hauling in only eight receptions for 125 yards and no touchdowns in his last four weeks.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Collins caught five passes for 97 yards in Sunday's loss to the Blue Bombers.

There was plenty of production to go around Sunday for the Roughriders' receiving corps as Darian Durant attempted 47 passes and threw for 399 yards, but that's been the exception rather than the rule for the Saskatchewan offense this season. Collins is capable of solid numbers, but as Durant's third option behind Naaman Roosevelt and Caleb Holley his week-to-week consistency will likely remain spotty.

Collins caught four passes for 68 yards in Saturday's loss to the Stampeders.

After totaling just four catches for 26 yards in his previous two games combined, Collins was able to return to the form he showed through the first four games of the season. The rookie will likely remain inconsistent, but he's capable of posting solid numbers when he can find some room.

Collins amassed 70 yards on two first-quarter receptions in Friday's 30-29 victory over the Redblacks.

Collins continues to fulfill a secondary position in a receiving corps largely spearheaded by Naaman Roosevelt, but did help spot starter Mitchell Gale get off to a solid start in the first quarter. The 24-year-old wideout hauled in passes of 22 and 48 yards in a Roughriders' opening drive that culminated in a Tyler Crapigna field goal, helping to set the stage for what would be a significantly successful night for Gale in his first start. Collins figures to continue serving in an important complementary role for the Roughriders throughout the season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Collins caught six passes for a team-high 115 yards and a touchdown in Friday's loss to the Eskimos.

The TD was his first in the CFL, and Collins' rookie season in the league has gone well so far as he now has 10 catches for 171 yards and a score through two games. The Roughriders don't have much established talent at receiver, so if Collins continues to make an impact he could quickly emerge as Darian Durant's top option in the passing game.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Collins amassed 56 yards on four receptions in Thursday's season-opening 30-17 loss to the Argos.

The 24-year-old had a solid CFL regular-season debut, playing second fiddle behind fellow wideouts Naaman Roosevelt and John Chiles on the night. Collins brings some big-play ability to the table after notching 64 catches for 1,187 yards and 14 touchdowns over his last pair of college campaigns, and will likely see his role expand as the season unfolds and he builds chemistry with quarterback Darian Durant.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Collins grabbed four receptions for a team-high 78 yards in Saturday's 25-11 preseason loss to the Eskimos. He added 44 yards on two kickoff returns.

The 24-year-old offseason acquisition impressed in the final tune-up for the regular season, building optimism on what he may be able to offer the Roughriders' offense in 2016. Collins hadn't recorded a catch in Saskatchewan's exhibition opener versus the Lions last week, so the production Saturday, which included a 33-yard catch, was certainly a welcome sight. The Texas A & M-Commerce product brings some big-play ability to the table, having totaled 64 receptions, 1,187 yards and 14 touchdowns over his two college seasons.
